Here’s one insect that’s welcome at any fun summer event! He’s cool and sweet and so easy to eat.

What you'll need:
  • 2 multi-pack boxes M&M’S® Brand Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches
  • 1 bag M&M’S® Brand Chocolate Candies
  • 1 bag red licorice
  • Ready-made frosting
  • Coconut, optional
  • Green food coloring, optional
What to do:
  1. Color the coconut with green food coloring and spread it onto a serving tray. (This step is optional.)
  2. Place 8 M&M’S® Brand Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches on top of the serving tray or green coconut. The sandwiches should be placed upright as shown in the photo.
  3. Decorate your caterpillar with red licorice for legs and antennas.
  4. Create a happy face on your caterpillar by sticking M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies to the front of the caterpillar using ready-made frosting.
